Do Account Receivables motivate you? Aon is looking to hire a Credit Representative for our office in Montreal.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Montreal office.

What the day will look like

  • Liaise with Account Executives to promote Premium Finance
  • Engage management on aged balances
  • Investigate credit balances and help set up refund requests
  • Update and maintain comments for tracking and diarizing
  • Assist leadership and other colleagues with projects, using advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Adobe/eCopy and internet browsers for research
  • Apply innovative and proactive approach to provide high level of customer service and assistance to clients, and fellow co-workers both inside and outside of immediate team
  • Communicate in person and through correspondence with high level contacts inside and outside the company such as customers, and senior leadership
  • Maintain manuals, policy, and procedure files, etc. in applicable format
  • Assist in research, testing, and/or implementation of revised policies and procedures
  • Reconcile/coordinate reports with other departments as needed
  • Assist with other responsibilities as requested

How this opportunity is different

This opportunity is a combination of client interaction and reporting. You will report to the Regional Credit and Collections Manager.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • French / English bilingualism required due to frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and/or internationally.
  • Possess 2 years or more of administrative and/or Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Knowledge of general office administration.
  • Excellent organization skills, strong attention to details and the ability to multi-task.
  • Effective communication skills (written and oral).
  • Advanced computer skills required (Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as internet browsers and Adobe).
  • Demonstrated capability to identify areas in need of improved efficiency and improve methods and approaches with mentorship from the manager.
  • Proven “can do”, “happy to assist” demeanour, proactive and creative style, with a high level of integrity.
  • Aware of own strengths and weaknesses, building on the former and addressing the latter, with manager guidance.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, innovative and forward-thinking office.
  • College degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
